石見神楽面絵付け体験プログラム

Kagura Mask Painting

あなただけのオリジナル神楽面を作る体 ができます。

島根県の伝統工芸品である石見神楽面を継承する小林泰三から、筆の使い方や運び方を教わります。作ったお面は、お家に飾ることで、「家内安全」「厄除け」の御利益があります。

数種類のお面を用意していますので、 自由に、楽しく絵付けをしてみませんか 


You can try your hand at painting your own original kagura mask.

Mr. Kobayashi, who is continuing Shimane's traditional art of making Iwami Kagura masks, will teach

you how to hold and use a brush as you paint your mask. Decorating your home with the mask you

painted will bring safety to your household and drive away evil.

We have prepared several kinds of mask designs for you, so why not have some fun decorating a

mask in your own original way?

本物と同じ「石州和紙 島根県浜田市三隅町 」と「胡粉（日本顔料）」仕上げの素地のお面に、彩色ができる体験です。

約１時間程度で仕上げることができ、完成品はそのままお持ち帰りできます。


You can paint an original design on a mask made from Sekishu Washi (from Misumi Town, Hamada

City, Shimane) and a base coloring of gofun (white Japanese pigment).

This activity takes around an hour to do, and you can take the completed mask home with you once

you've finished.

1.神楽面の種類を選ぶ
面の種類は「鬼」「般若」「鍾馗」「恵比須」の4種類から選べます。

1. Choose your kagura mask

There are four types to choose from.

2.面に彩色を施す
口の中を塗り、髪やヒゲなどの毛描きと、目に瞳の線を入れます。 彩色は、見本どおりではなく、自由にやることができます。

2. Paint your mask.

Paint the lips and mouth, the hair and beard, and the eyes. There are examples available, but you can paint your mask however you like.

3.完成
世界に一つだけの作品が仕上がります。 夏休みの課題制作や、お子様へのプレゼントなど、用途はさまざま。 ぜひ、お楽しみください

3. You're done

Now you have the only mask of its kind in the world. There are many ways to use them, from

a summer vacation school project to a present for a child. Please enjoy this experience.

出張講座について

出張講座も随時承っております。
この場合、「移動交通費」を別途ご負担いただきます。
また、石見神楽や神楽面の特徴などを深く知ることができる講演との同時開催も可能で、この場合は講師料（１時間につき、10,000円）をご準備いただくことになります。

Regarding On-Site Instruction

We also offer on-site instruction.

In cases where we travel to a separate location, you will need to pay for transportation costs.

We also offer a lecture that will help you understand more about the characteristics of Iwami Kagura and kagura masks for 10,000 yen/hour.

Our lecturer does not speak English. If you require a translator, please provide your own.
